Most did not survive. Auschwitz was designed t...o cram as many people into each barrack as possible; eventually, 744 people
were crammed into each. Later, the bombing of Hamburg by the RAF provided the Nazis an opportunity to blame the Jews, later leading to Jewish persecution and the slaughter of millions of Jews. The video needs to have a teacher explain in more detail what happened at the camps in terms of what the students can best understand.
